Ben Rector Segerstrom Center For The Arts - Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall Concert reviews
Good show, but too loud for too long
Fantastic were all three acts (Black Eye Cherry, Ben Rector, and Like a Storm). They interacted well with the crowd and were full of energy. The diverse audience, energetic and responsive, was having a great time as far as I can tell.
My ears were practically numb by the end of the concert that went on too long (over 4 hours - great value, I suppose) and was relentlessly, deafeningly loud. Consequently, my date enjoyed himself more as he brought along ear plugs. I could no longer concentrate on or appreciate the music.
Ridiculously expensive was the alcohol ($6 for Bud Light?), but I don't expect anything else.
